Invitation to Jeju: Bridging Cultures, Uniting Islands

After months of preparation, we have finally concluded our inaugural Jeju Day event this year. Titled ‘Invitation to Jeju: Bridging Cultures, Uniting Islands’, we sought to bring a piece of the enchanting Jeju Island to sunny Singapore (despite the rainy days during our event). Although most Singaporeans are familiar with ‘Jeju Island’, we were still glad to have the opportunity to introduce unique cultural elements, tourism spots, and local products made with ingredients from the pristine island to the crowd that dropped by our event.

From food products such as tangerines, granola, traditional liquor, seafood to cosmetics such as camellia extract essences, and face masks, a diverse range of delectable snacks and must-try items were offered as samples, and retailed at the minimart corner, ran by Lee Mart, a famous Korean mart chain in Singapore.

Additionally, captivating performances by the Jeju Provincial Dance Company enthralled passers-by, and many won adorable character gifts and Jeju themed products at the exciting quiz shows, and roulette events held throughout the event. Informative briefing sessions on MICE events, experiential programs, and event media filming opportunities in Jeju were also held, providing a greater understanding of the treasure trove of potential that Jeju has to offer.

Thank you to everyone for making this a memorable event, and contributing so much to the success of this event. As we start to wrap up this year, we hope to be able to bring more Jeju content and products to you in the coming years and spread this love for Jeju to all. Thank you.
