The first week of November was nothing short of exhilarating as we celebrated our 2025 Invitation to Jeju, Korea event. Now that the excitement has settled, we’re reflecting on a week filled with creativity, collaboration, and community. From the pop-up store and business matching sessions to the startup showcase and grand opening ceremony dinner, every moment highlighted partnership, innovation, and progress.
The opening ceremony welcomed around 170 attendees, including Jeju officials and company representatives, Korea-related organizations in Singapore (Korean Embassy, Korean Association, KOCHAM, KOTRA), as well as Singapore (MTA, SMU) and ASEAN companies, government agencies (SFA, MOE, IMDA, etc.), and media outlets.
New connections were forged and meaningful collaborations sparked, all in celebration of Jeju’s growing ties with the world. What made the night truly special was how each segment of the program came together to highlight the diverse partnerships that would unfold across the following days of associated events.
We are immensely grateful to everyone who joined us – from local partners to our ASEAN + α friends – for making this milestone celebration unforgettable. Here’s to further strengthening Jeju’s ties with ASEAN + α and to an even more spectacular celebration for our 3rd anniversary next year!
