🚢 Fast-Track Your Jeju Cruise Arrival! ✨

Jeju Island is taking cruise tourism to the next level with Korea’s first unmanned automated immigration counters, giving travellers a faster, smoother, and hassle-free arrival experience.

Immigration Time Slashed by Over 50%

Processing 5,000 passengers used to take 150 minutes. Now, it only takes 60 minutes – leaving more time to explore Jeju’s stunning sights, shop for local treasures, enjoy its vibrant dining scene, and soak up the island’s culture.

Streamlined Entry at Jeju’s Main Ports

  • Jeju Port (제주항): 10 counters (7 entry, 3 exit)
  • Gangjeong Port (강정항): 28 counters (21 entry, 7 exit)

These new counters handle high passenger volumes efficiently, especially during peak cruise season.

Enhancing the Cruise Experience

Jeju is planning further upgrades, including new bus routes at Gangjeong Port, smoking booths, global ATMs, expanded Wi-Fi at tourist information centres, mobility support services, and upgraded baggage handling. Once rolled out, these improvements will make arrivals and departures seamless, further cementing Jeju as a premium cruise destination.

Cruise Tourism by the Numbers (December 2025)

  • Jeju Port: 124 calls, 200,000 visitors
  • Gangjeong Port: 183 calls, 540,000 visitors
  • Total: 307 calls, 740,000 visitors (expected to exceed 760,000 by year-end)

Jeju’s Vision

With faster entry, smarter transport, and expanded infrastructure, Jeju is steadily evolving into a high-efficiency, world-class tourism hub, making every visit smoother, more rewarding, and memorable.
