🍂 Experience Jeju’s Autumn at the 2025 Tamna Cultural Festival! ✨

Jeju’s autumn came alive with the Tamna Cultural Festival 2025, held during the Chuseok holiday. This year, the festival blended tradition, modernity, and creativity, offering unforgettable experiences for both locals and visitors.

Running from October 10–14, the festival spanned the Jeju Beach Performance Hall, Tamna Culture Plaza, and Sanjicheon Area. The opening ceremony kicked off on October 10, followed by the Tamna Parade on October 11, featuring Jeju’s ambassador Mworanghaman and singer-actress Won Mi-yeon. By scheduling these events separately, each moment truly shone in their own right. As night fell, the Sanjicheon River lit up with sculptures and photo zones, creating a magical evening atmosphere.

The festival offered 18 exciting programs across four areas:

  • Root Yard: Visitors experienced traditional ceremonies honoring the Tamna Kingdom and Jeju’s history.
  • Playground: Folk performances, the Tamna Parade, and interactive activities entertained all ages.
  • Awoolmadang: Domestic and international performances, K-Pop random play dances, riverside busking, and exhibitions of intangible cultural heritage were showcased.
  • Dream Yard: Workshops, night walks, student festivals, and the vibrant Tamra Market engaged participants.

Special Highlight: This year, the Siong Leng Musical Association from Singapore collaborated with Jeju locals for a unique fusion performance. After the festival, the show will be travelling to Singapore for Jeju Day celebrations, offering an exciting cross-cultural experience.

Whether local or visiting Jeju, attendees had the chance to explore the island’s history, culture, and modern flair at the Tamna Cultural Festival — a perfect way to celebrate autumn!
