Riding on the wave of change to promote regional revitalization, 2025 has officially been declared the Visit Jeju Heritage Year, and four seasons worth of activities to learn more about Jeju will be taking place between the 1st of April to the 16th of November this year. Seasonal themed programs have been carefully curated to coincide with existing heritage events and festivals to allow people a wider variety of opportunities to enjoy Jeju’s major national heritage. The second season of the heritage year promotions will kick off today, the 30th of May. Themed the Nature of Jeju (제주의 자연), 10 different locations categorized into 3 different themes have been highlighted for visitors to learn more about the landscape of Jeju, molded by its history of volcanic activity.
